After getting things wrapped up over at Thompson, I knew that I had to take advantage of the late afternoon light that was still available. Plus, what else was I to do with a full frame Nikon D700 camera on hand, a scenic low key street and quite arguably the best put together EP3 in the nation?

Having left behind my camera at Evan's place, a trip to retrieve it was in order and in an unintended series of snaps for fun out of the blue, a second look at the garage inevitably became a reality.

With the end of the year right around the corner, I figured now would be a good time to give an exclusive in depth look at where SHG's very own DC5 race car is being built at. Some sort of factory you may call it, but 'round these parts here, it just goes by the name SoHonda Garage.

James Baird Park is THE spot when it comes to the SHG meets. Year after year we continue to come back, wearing shorts and a tee or jeans and a hoodie. It's an ordinary park with not much more than a BBQ area and a parking lot but it has all the key ingredients for a good time. The recipe is simple, set a time/date/location, spread the word, wash the whip and stop by the supermarket for beer+food on the way. Now did I miss anything?
