This year's SHG Oktoberfest marked our 7th annual fall SHG_BBQ and keeping true to SHG tradition there was a strong turnout of some of the most well built Hondas the northeast has to offer. Also, as always there was a variety of other manufacturers present too, making for a diverse crowd of enthusiasts alike.

A year of decisions, one month of ownership, and nine thousand revolutions per minute. | Part II
To me the S2000 is a great mix of old and new generation Honda engineering. Without getting into the whole 'golden era' debate, I feel that the S2000 has many qualities of the 'old cars' while also benefiting from Honda's new technology and manufacturing processes. I get to 'have my cake and eat it too' as they say.
A year of decisions, one month of ownership, and nine thousand revolutions per minute. | Part I
After just over one month of ownership I thought I'd share my initial impressions of this engineering marvel as well as the winding road that has lead me to this car.

James Baird Park is THE spot when it comes to the SHG meets. Year after year we continue to come back, wearing shorts and a tee or jeans and a hoodie. It's an ordinary park with not much more than a BBQ area and a parking lot but it has all the key ingredients for a good time. The recipe is simple, set a time/date/location, spread the word, wash the whip and stop by the supermarket for beer+food on the way. Now did I miss anything?
