Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park | A New Racing Experience

You know, it's not too often that a track opens up near your neck of the woods. Naturally when Thompson announced their plans to build a new road course for 2014, we as track enthusiasts were ecstatic to say the least. Now with a bit of tarmac on the ground, the staff was ready to host an open house event and of course, SHG was there to check it out.

Having left behind my camera at Evan's place, a trip to retrieve it was in order and in an unintended series of snaps for fun out of the blue, a second look at the garage inevitably became a reality.

With the end of the year right around the corner, I figured now would be a good time to give an exclusive in depth look at where SHG's very own DC5 race car is being built at. Some sort of factory you may call it, but 'round these parts here, it just goes by the name SoHonda Garage.

SHG | I'm back!

After about half a year without a garage, I finally have it back! It had been taken over by miscellaneous things being stored but once they were gone I got all of my stuff roughly sorted and placed in a way that resembles an organized garage. It's not perfect but its a major step and the more I use it the more I can improve on the layout.

All in all it has all the space I need and as a bonus I can store bigger parts in the roof while keeping floor space freed up. A compressor/tank setup with air tools plus a space heater would take this to the next level but baby steps is key!
