Nothing like photos of high quality and resolution of a beautiful Champ White Integra Type R.

Not only that but you also gotta love a Type Rx interior. It sure is nice with the yellow stitched steering wheel and shift boot paired with yellow Recaros to match.

SKR EG6 time attack

Nimble little EG doing some laps around Tsukuba. Its equipped with a B18C Spec R with B16B cams and ran a 1:05:xx. Doesn't sound that fast but for comparison a stock NSX-R laps it in 1:06:01 and the Mugen Civic RR at 1:06:68.

Reminiscent of a better time...

An in-depth look at the development history of the NSX from back in the early 90s. Quite the impressive car when you consider that its still competitive to this day.

However it is quite sad that cars like these aren't being built anymore due to the pressure from environmental agencies and an unstable global economy.

I still have hope that auto manufacturers can continue to improve their technologies to improve engine efficiency and lessen the carbon footprints instead of solely relying on hybrid power plants.

Oktoberfest Photo 'Sesh

The annual SHG Oktoberfest meet was held this past Sunday and the turnout was great to say the least. As always the quality of the cars in presence were outstanding. It brings a smile to know everyone is making progress with their builds in one way or another. Since we all live so far apart and many times in different states, getting together in a perfect fall day was a great way to end the weekend.

Mike had the opportunity to have a little photo shoot of the SHG rides so here they are.

You gotta love how visually appealing this 92' Civic Si hatchback is. I look at this picture and all I can think, is that its....just.... So Honda! The idea that you can stare at any given Honda and regardless of the model or the year and it will look very Honda like. Whether its the body lines or the overall fitment of the parts, there is something that they all share in common in which makes them very unique. Next time you find yourself dazing off while staring at a Honda, just realize that you've just had a SoHonda moment!
