Preparation For The Work Week | A Casual Sunday With SHG

In typical fashion after a long and hopefully productive work week, we like to get together at one of the many SHG-Compounds and unwind. Discussions usually include the weeks developments in automotive culture, sarcasm, trash-talking, memes, and youtube. Sometimes even trash-talking sarcastic automotive culture memes on youtube. Smartphones at the ready with screenshots and quick links to the latest social media from around the globe, "watched" items on auction sites, new purchases, and updates from our favorite builds. Sources ranging from the US to Japan, UK to Australia and everywhere in between. We live and breathe the automotive lifestyle and nothing is better than sharing it all in one place on a regular basis with good friends, good beer, and good jokes.

A Girls Rare Integra | Enthusiast Without The Hype

It's so refreshing to see a car being modded by a female that isn't doing it for the attention but rather because she genuinely enjoys the time for the same reasons that we do. Girls like this are definitely few and far in between...

SHG | Tour De La Garage | Partie 2

Having left behind my camera at Evan's place, a trip to retrieve it was in order and in an unintended series of snaps for fun out of the blue, a second look at the garage inevitably became a reality.

SHG | Tour De La Garage

With the end of the year right around the corner, I figured now would be a good time to give an exclusive in depth look at where SHG's very own DC5 race car is being built at. Some sort of factory you may call it, but 'round these parts here, it just goes by the name SoHonda Garage.

SHG Memorial Day BBQ

I posted this a few weeks ago in my build thread but better late than never right? Better yet, is posting this here so that you can all see how we spent our Memorial Day holiday on 5/28/12.

The DC5 race car that we are building had finally been painted after many months of building the roll cage and prepping the rest of the chassis.

Evan borrowed the tow truck from his job and off we went to pick up the DC5 from Tom's body shop.

DC5 vs DC2 vs EK9

A nice comparison between the Civic R and Integra R models on the Ebisu East course. The handling on these cars are all pretty similar in the grand scheme of things so the biggest differences between them are the engines.

So which will it be? The rev happy B16B, legendary B18C or the almighty K20A?

Tuned Type R Battle!

Tuned Hondas going at it in traditional circuit racing fashion at Maze circuit. High revving engines on a narrow track with great drivers only mean one thing;

Pure Honda Sports!

VTEC CLUB!

In this episode of VTEC Club, the NSX is tested but since that has been posted already, the video starts in the next segment. Ichishima, Hattori and Tsuchiya san discuss engine oiling and review the Fit's potential.

They also drive a 4 door Fit Aria which is essentially a renamed Honda City. Its hard not to laugh!

Followed by an unmodified battle between an EP3, DC5 and a CL7. It also includes a tuned CL7 battle. Gotta love how beast the Phase Accord sounds.

The second part shows how a chassis is reinforced using various methods and even an inside look at the JGTC ARTA NSX, very interesting for sure!

This was a really good watch so if you have the time, sit back and enjoy pure Honda sports!

DC5 Integra Type-R Review

After the iconic DC2 Integra Type-R was pulled from the production line, 6 years later the new DC5 Integra Type-R was introduced and put in charge of carrying the torch. Did the Type R spirit live on through the next generation Integra?
Check it out for yourselves!
