"Sometimes the right thing to do, isn't the right thing to do". 

That is the advice I was given when I faced a tough decision earlier this summer. The opportunity to own an extremely rare and gorgeous set of wheels came up, however it wasn't exactly in reach. I had to work long hours and liquidate some items very quickly but I was able to make it happen in a short period of time. It called for extreme measures and put me in a tight spot but its not everyday that opportunities like this arise so I had to go against the "safer" decision of using the money for more important things.

Even to this day it's still debatable whether I made the right choice but you can't live life with regrets am  I right?

TGIF!

Owning an authentic NSX-R in the US that is street legal would be virtually impossible. So NSXPrime.com member "SerialNSXer" bought this 2002 NSX after trading in his low mileage 03 blue NSX and pieced together an extremely nice NSX-R left hand drive replica using many authentic parts.

J's Racing S2000

J's Racing's S2000 is without a doubt one of my favorite Hondas of all time. Its pinpoint handling, responsive engine and eargasmic exhaust note are simply to die for.

Better late than never but hey it's still Tuesday!

Gordon Shedden claims BTCC championship title!

What a fantastic weekend at Brands Hatch! Honda Racing driver Matt Neal takes 1st place in race one and team mate Gordon Shedden takes 2nd place in race 2 and clinches onto the championship title ahead of defending title holder Matt Neal and contender Jason Plato.

With 3 drivers in the title dispute going into the weekend, Matt Neal ended up taking 2nd place in the Championship title which is an achievement on its own while Jason Plato takes 3rd overall.

Simply put, a great weekend for the Honda Yuasa Racing Team with a 1-2 finish to the season!

Super GT

Super GT is Japan's premier grand touring car racing series which was formerly known as JGTC before the name switch for the 2005 season. 

For me it has always been an exciting series due to the concept behind using fast production cars and building them to extreme levels of performance. Not only that but all of the cars look really good!

NSXs especially with their widebodies and exquisite liveries. If you've ever played Gran Turismo or any similar racing game then you probably feel the same way. 

Anyways, its nothing new but they never get old to look at. The following pictures are from the 2007 Motegi Twin Ring GP in which the Takata NSX took the win.

Honda WTCC 2012 Civic!

Exciting news in the racing world... Honda will be entering an all new racer in the World Touring Car Championship based on the 2012 European Civic. 

Honda CEO, Takanobu Ito, announced "We have made a decision to enter into the WTCC with the European Civic. We will develop a totally new engine for this project and we are all excited about starting this new challenge.' 

SHG Oktoberfest | Recap

This past Sunday we held our 5th Annual SHG Oktoberfest meet and I just wanted to thank everyone that made the effort to come out as it was an enjoyable evening hanging out and checking out each other's rides.

Type R Tuesday | Audi R8 V10 vs Mugen Honda Civic Type R

For me, the Euro Civic Type R is yet another Honda that upon launch, didn't tickle my fancy. When pictures of prototypes would surface of various new models, I would say to myself; what is Honda thinking?

However as soon as they would lunch and a few months passed by, I would take another look at them and think "Hrm, you know, this actually isn't half bad". Little did I know that I would come to like just about every single one of them!

The Euro Type R is one of those. These days I am heads over heels for them and what once seemed like tacky styling, is now simply gorgeous. It would just be a dream to own one but if that wasn't too much to ask for, Mugen had to go and make their own version and make an already superb car, an extraordinary one.
